Manga - Kanan
Personal project of an original manga that tells the story of Yukari, a girl who goes on a journey to save her loved teacher.
The whole manga theme is about "goen", a japanese word that translated in a very simple way could be "conections". Conections between people, things or events. It is a very meaningful word for me and It can be easily seen in our daily life even though people don't usually pay much attention to it.

Yukari decides to go on a journey in order to save someone importat to her. While having fear and insecurities She meets new friends and get to know more about herself and about her roots. On top of that, She also realizes that even though her teacher isn't physically by her side, her teachings have an important role in overcoming the obstacles.
This is why, on the cover, Yukari looks away from the teacher, but still have her as a supporting background.
Character Design
As the main theme of the manga is "goen" (or just "en"), the character's names also have some kind of connection by the presence of the japanese ideogram, "縁" ("en").
